Delayed is live, app 1 of 12

Twelve apps.
Twelve months.

I’m building a new consumer app every month until September 2027. Each one is an idea that failed the first time, usually because the technology wasn’t ready. Now it is.

Departures

From 9 September 2026 to 9 September 2027

The launch board: one app a month from September 2026 to August 2027, and where each one is.

Delayed

If your flight was delayed, cancelled or overbooked, Delayed tells you whether the airline owes you money under EU261 or UK261. It can be up to €600, checking is free, and you can see exactly how it got the answer.

  • £15 for the claim letter. Claims firms usually keep 25–35% of the payout.
  • Every answer shows the distance, the delay rule and the court case behind it.
  • You send the letter yourself, so the whole payout is yours.

Why €600?

  1. Left from an EU airport, so EU261 applies

    EU261, Article 3(1)

  2. 5,833 km, which is over 3,500 km

    EU261, Article 7(1)(c)

  3. Landed 5h 10m late, which is over 3 hours

    Sturgeon, C-402/07

The airline owes you

€600

A real result from Delayed: flight AF006 from Paris to New York, landing 5 hours 10 minutes late.

How the studio works

Four rules for every app

This started with Revenly CRM, which never moved a deal without showing you the email it was based on. Delayed works the same way, and so will every app after it.

More about the challenge

  1. It fixes something that failed before

Every app goes back to an idea that didn’t work the first time, for a reason that no longer applies.

  2. One flat price

You pay a fixed amount. I never take a percentage of your money.

  3. It explains itself

Every answer comes with how it was worked out, so you can check it yourself.

  4. Thirty days to prove it

If an app isn’t being used 30 days after launch, I shut it down and the board says so.

Your CRM isn't empty because your team is lazy

Every founder blames discipline. The real problem is that traditional CRMs charge a data-entry tax that founders selling on WhatsApp and email can't afford to pay.

Get an email when an app launches

Or when one gets shut down. That’s all I’ll send.
